Big summer game - Creek In Morning triptych
Hot summer days are back. Just men and women with steel will-power are able to make pictures in this kind of weather. For the rest of us, who do prefer shadow and glare of computer screens, there is a summer game we can play together.
Creek In Morning triptych, which is here presented, is one of my best landscape sequences. Is composed from three 6x12 cm plates and was made with a Holga Panoramic camera. It is from my last Liptov trip and was captured during a windowless morning, by the creek with a beautiful old willow.
This triptych does exist just in a virtual form. I did not glue plates together on matt paper this time. Instead, plates were scanned separately and stitched together to one picture in Photoshop.
Now, I'm going to place plates in eBay auctions. Every one of the plates in its own auction. The idea, that plates would be separated, is not easy one. To make thing even worse, plates will be placed on eBay with a very low starting price.
There are options. You can hunt just one plate - that in the middle is an obvious winner, but maybe the plate on the left is my personal favorite. And I like the dark deeps of the plate on the right side.
Or, if you really like to play games, you can try to acquire all tree plates. It is difficult to predict how it will go. But, just these days we have slow summer time with a very low traffic, so I think there is a real chance to buy the complete triptych for a very reasonable price.
And if you bid and you want to support my work evan more and against your own interest, you can share this game with your friends.
You can find all three plates from triptych on my eBay page (I'm on eBay as jurajk7)
Creek In Morning triptych. All three plates, maybe for the last time together
